Safety and Health
Safety ranks as an important issue in the Construction Industry. The AGC West Central Ohio Division is committed to providing its Members the resources needed to ensure a safe and healthy workforce. We want to be proactive to prevent costly workplace accidents and injuries.
As safety and health issues or questions develop, please contact the Association’s staff. Wehave resources available to ensure Members are aware of changing government regulations, to assist with job site audits and reviews, to provide copies of required posters, and to support its Members with OSHA findings and citations. Periodically, our office will provide Tool Box Talks for your jobsite safety meetings and we will call our Members to attend Safety Meetings.
If your construction team requires training, the AGC West Central Ohio staff has access to local training schedules for OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses and other classes including but not limited to: Confined Space; Aerial Lifts; Fall Protection; Signaler & Rigging; Drug Free Workplace; and Powered Industrial Trucks training. If your crew requires training, we can find a class or arrange for a trainer to report to your jobsite, according to your scheduling needs. Additionally, our Library has numerous training videos and books to support your in-house training needs. If our resources do not satisfy your needs, we can contact the local BWC office and borrow needed informational and training materials.
